Overview
Sagana is the home of adventure, and Savage Wilderness, offers plenty of those options especially on River Mathioya. So here is a Wild Weekend plan to cycle along the river, following the defunct railway line for two days only coming back to camp after our legs have had enough and our eyes seen plenty.
It's a beautiful countryside with plenty of dirt roads, plus singletracks, that beg for you to ride them. Meet and greet the locals. Talk a moment to watch and listen to the thundering rapids. Or read a book at sunset, seated by the calm side of River Mathioya at Savage Wilderness camp after the ride is done.
Other activities available include: white water rafting, kayaking, bungee jumping, archery and nature walks.
What to Carry/Wear:

- Light & warm clothing and shoes(dress code: tracks, jeans, short,T-shirt, sweater.)
